It has been years since I bought or read a copy of Playboy magazine. 
And for what it is worth, I never, ever claimed to read the magazine for the articles. (Honestly? I will carry the memory of Barbara McNair’s pictures in the magazine to my grave.)
However, I would have never thought the magazine of my youth would put an animated character on its cover and do a three page “suggestive” spread on her to boot. But that will be the case for the November 2009 issue of the magazine.
That said, if Playboy is looking for more animated women to focus on in the future, let me suggest the following three:
1) Lois Griffin (Family Guy), 2) Doctor Mrs. The Monarch (formerly Dr. Girlfriend) (Venture Brothers) and 3) Betty Rubble (Flintstones), who was posing nude long before Al Gore invented the internet.
