If you have known me for more than thirty seconds or ever read any story I ever written, you know I am a HUGE Fleetwood Mac fan. Their songs have been the background music in my head for practically every Hawkgirl/ Green Lantern story I’ve ever written.
If I am on the highway and the tune, “Go Your Own Way,” is playing, you should get out of my way because my foot turns to lead and the speakers get cranked up and I am a guided missile heading down the road. My kids grew up listening to me listen to Fleetwood Mac. Yes, they had a hard life.
Today, I get a package from my son. It is a framed Fleetwood Mac album cover, RUMOURS, and it is autographed by all five band members. I am bouncing off the walls. My life is good because Stevie Nicks signed, “Much Love, Stevie Nicks” and I have a son who knows his dad so damn well.
