Four years ago, I wrote about my new hometown, Covington, Georgia and its connection to Hollywood. This small town is still one of the top “go to” places 
when Hollywood needs rural and small town location shots for their films. In that regard, Covington and its surrounding area has often been called the “Hollywood of the South.”
The City of Covington is proud of its participation in so many various film projects. As I said four years ago, the City commemorates each project with a star similar to those found on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame. A list of all of the films that the town of Covington has supported over the years can be found on Covington’s Wikipedia page.
