Below are listed some of the best sites on the web for finding synopsis and other material about the 271 episodes of this landmark series. More sites/links will be added as they are discovered. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you are aware of a Perry Mason related site that you think should be on this page.
~~~
- Perry Mason at the IMDB. – Information about the series at the Internet Movie Database.
- Perry Mason at Wikipedia. – The obligatory Wikipedia entry.
- Storrer Perry Mason / Erle Stanley Gardner Web Site. – In my opinion, the most complete personal Perry Mason TV series website out there. Bar none!
- Perry Mason TV Series – This is an unusual entry. The Perry Mason TV Series website is/was one of the best resources available for those seeking info on the series. However, it seems that the original website no longer exist. But, nothing on the internet ever really goes away. The link above is from the Internet Archive Wayback Machine. Therefore, we are not deprived of this valuable resource.
Reader John from San Francisco adds that The Perry Mason TV Series website now lives at miraheze.org. It doesn’t have all the comments and trivia that were captured from the original site by the Wayback Machine, but it does have a huge amount of content. Regardless, this is great news because we now have a live site that viewers can add comments and trivia to as they enjoy the reruns of the Perry Mason TV Show.
- Objection Overruled – This website validates my belief that the Raymond Burr led Perry Mason TV series was one of the crowning achievements of broadcast television. The blog, created by the prolific fanfiction writer Lucky Ladybug, provides wonderful insights into the episodes examined. Her website will give you “food for thought” on every episode reviewed.
- Epguides.com. – Synopsis of all 271 episodes.
- The Perry Mason TV Show Book. – This entry is new to my list. It is a web version of the complete reference book (of the same name) by Brian Kelleher and Diana Merrill. Everything relative to Perry Mason from creation to cancellation and revival is covered in this excellent resource. However, the book’s website is no longer operational. (Note: the site is available on the Internet Archive Wayback Machine and this is the best way to review this resource.) Please note that sadly the book the website is based on currently retails for $692.35 on Amazon (as I write this). I can’t, in good conscience, recommend the purchase of the book because of the price, but I do recommend visiting the website.
