Just when it looked like Steve Jobs had dodged the horrible marketing fiasco of the summer relative to the poor phone reception of the Apple iPhone, it turns out there may be another bullet that he won’t be able to avoid. It seems that the cases that Apple was forced to give away because of the antenna problems may be causing serious cosmetic damage to the glass back of the phone.
So, just when the Apple iPhone free case program has expired, Mr. Jobs has to redesign his phone so it will run on the Verizon network and make repairs to the back of his AT&T phones from damage caused by the cases he had to give away because his phone didn’t work without one (unless you held it in a special way). The CNN story is here.
