Imagine that in the dead of night, you are kidnapped from your home, blindfolded and dropped off in the middle of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. A man offers to take you back home, but you must not remove the blindfold. He’ll describe the scenery as you travel and the only thing that he will guarantee is that eventually he’ll get you back.
This is how I feel right now. I have discovered the webcomic, Pibgorn by Brooke McEldowney (who also draws 9 Chickweed Lane). This is a story of a fairy named, Pibgorn, a church organist named, Geoff and a succubus named, Drusilla. That’s right a fairy, a succubus and a mortal.
And I love this strip for its writing, its drawings and its premise. But I can’t find any information on the current arc and it is driving me to distraction. I would love a little orientation even if it’s only to tell me which road we’re on. Still, I’ll keep the blindfold on because I am so loving the ride and I learned a valuable lesson last week. Never, ever tell a succubus she doesn’t exist or is a myth because an angry succubus is not a pleasant sight to behold. Probably pleasurable, but definitely not pleasant.
