President Trump tweeted on Friday a photo of Sen. Chuck Schumer enjoying a doughnut with Russian President Vladimir Putin, saying there should be an investigation into Schumer’s ties with Russia and calling the Senate minority leader a hypocrite. The President is wrong. The photo taken in 2003 shows the Russian President and the Senator at the newly open, Russian owned, LukOil gas station in New York City. From there, the Russian President went to Camp David to meet with President Bush. These meetings were public and in front of camera. A.G. Sessions apparently lied about his meeting under oath. That’s the difference.
