Death of a website – Ashnotes (aka wsash.org)

If you were looking for the website AshNotes (aka wsash.org) and got redirected here, you’re not lost; you’re just in a new neighborhood.

On December 20, 2017, I closed down the website Ashnotes (aka wsash.org).  The site, whose tagline was Hungering for Fact – Driven to Find the Truth, started operation in January of 2017 and over the last 12 months had posted 38 articles. The original intent of Ashnotes was to offer a political beacon of truth against what I felt was an avalanche of alternative facts (when I was a child, we called –alternative facts – lies.)

However, I underestimated the rate at which those in political power could spew these lies and, sadly, quickly burned out trying to rebut the untruths. The bottom line is that after a year I’ve concluded that the “juice ain’t worth the squeeze.” Yes, I’m acknowledging that “they” wore me down and won.

If you were redirected here looking for a specific article, please use the search button below because most of the Ashnotes articles have been imported to this site.

Again, thanks for stopping by. I hope you’ll explore this site and find something of interest.
