Fleetwood Mac Rumours

Bringing In 2023 with Fleetwood Mac

As 2022 comes to a close, I was conflicted about making a “last post” for the calendar year. Part of the conflict came about because I was conflicted about whether or not I wanted to continue this website (and the others sites associated with it).

If you have visited this site over the last three years, you will have noticed that there are fewer and fewer posts each year. Additionally, the posting schedule has become very sporadic. Other commitments (and old age) have forced me to pay less attention to this site than I really wanted or needed to.

Therefore, with great reluctance, I’m putting this site in a… for the lack of a better term… a Stasis Chamber. No more updates (scheduled or otherwise) unless the mood really hits me. And even then, there’s no guarantee that I’ll post anything.

That said, for 17 years I’ve posted an annual musical close out and this year will be no different. (To see previous year close out posts, start with last year’s post). However, this year I’m going to repeat the group I used in 2012. The group is Fleetwood Mac and the song is Don’t Stop (thinking about tomorrow). The song was written by the late Christine McVie who was divorcing her husband, band bassist John McVie at the time.

This year, I welcome 2023 with Fleetwood Mac (and the University of Southern California Marching Band) from the 1997 tour “The Dance.” Don’t Stop (thinking about tomorrow) will be my mantra in 2023. It’s a call to a positive attitude and being hopeful. Because like the song says, “it’ll be better than before, ’cause yesterday’s gone.”

I want to thank all who have visited this site. Hopefully something I’ve written over the years has contributed to your knowledge or your pleasure database. I wish you all good fortune and a Happy New Year!
