As 2011 comes to a close, I decided that my last post of the year would be about looking forward, and not a backwards glance at the year that has just concluded.
2012 will be a year of personal change for me. I will be retiring from work (yes, I am old enough to do that) and I will be moving from California to Georgia. One thing that will not change is this website. This site will continue and will resume being updated on it normal Tuesday and Friday schedule next week.
Yes, 2012 will be a year of change with the upcoming national election, the Mayan prediction of the end of the world and my moving to the East Coast. Last year, I welcomed 2011 with Teena Marie. This year, I welcome 2012 with Fleetwood Mac (and the University of Southern California Marching Band) from the 1997 tour “The Dance” and a song that will be my mantra in 2012, “Don’t Stop Thinking About Tomorrow.” Because like the song says, “it’ll be better than before, ’cause yesterday’s gone.”
