For a host of reasons, that I won’t go into right now, this blog has lapsed into a state of benign neglect for the last 15 months or so. Sadly, nothing I intend to write today is going to change that state.
However, the one or two savvy readers I have left will notice that the URL for this site has changed from .NET to .COM. That is because I have moved temporarily this site from its regular .NET address to its alternative .COM address. I believe all the links are functional and the transition should be transparent to most readers, but I’m also sure there will be a broken link or too or a missing picture that I will have to track down. I’d ask that if you, gentle reader, come across something broken or missing on this site, please alert me via the website contact form. By the way, you might notice that the color scheme for this site has changed. That change is intentional and is intended for me as a visual cue that my primary site is still broken. Hopefully, it won’t be too distracting for my remaining readers.
Now, I’ll be honest with you. I was very close to letting this site die the appropriate internet death last year, but I’ve decided not to…at least, not this year. After all, I still have an opinion and a website and it is an election year. And if that isn’t serendipity, I don’t know what is.
