Sometime ago on Live Journal, I lamented the fact that I own the content of my journal, but not the medium. I also announced earlier in the year that I was going to make changes to my posting pattern. Well I am pleased to say I am making excellent progress on both fronts.
Since June 1st, my LJ entries have been simulcasted at wordpress at Bill’s Little Corner of the World. By the end of August, this journal will also be here on my own site at wsash.net at Bill’s Little Corner of the World. The simulcasting will continue indefinitely. Bottom line is my content, my medium.
Speaking of medium, about 18 months ago I posted here the results of Googling: Billa1. I am pleased to report that there is still nothing to report. So for those of you who might have Googled me before deciding to friend me, this is provided for clarification. This Billa1:
– has nothing to do with 3D modeling.
– does write fan fiction (well d’uh).
– is not female.
– does not have self-esteem issues (if you knew me in real life, you’d laugh at the thought that I would).
– has not made an Indian film.
– has not posted to Youtube or Youporn.
– has not posted to the java.net forums.
– has written for the R ‘Verse.
– is not a member of the LanChester Pagan Association.
– is not in Birmingham looking for adult fun.
– has posted to the Flightsim.com Conference.
– is not part of the iContact Community.
– hasn’t reported software problems to Microsoft in a forum.
– has posted to Capes and Tights and Toonzone.
– has nothing to do with www.billa1.com.
– has not posted any religious comments (pro or con) on any forum.
– has not posted an adult personal ad.
– doesn’t have passwords for adult porn sites.
– is not a member of a gardening club (of any sort).
– and has never asked a question online about how to invest his money.
In short, I’m still not as an exciting person as Google would make me out to be, but I’m happy with whom I am. Except maybe it would be nice to have those passwords. Just kidding. 😉
