Just as they did last year, several national restaurant chains will offer food specials over the next couple of days to honor U.S. military veterans for their service.
Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar is inviting veterans and active-duty members of the military in on Veterans Day (Monday, November 11th) for a free Applebee’s Signature Entrée among seven menu favorites at all of the chain’s locations.
Hooters – 10 Free Boneless Wings, November 11, 2013 offer good for all veterans and active duty military personnel. Drink purchase required. Offer valid at participating Hooters.
Golden Corral is hosting a Military Appreciation Day on November 11. The event will take place from 4 PM to 9 PM at all nationwide locations. Anyone who has served in the U.S. military, National Guard or Reserves will get a free buffet dinner.
Denny’s Veterans Day All You Can Eat Pancakes, Monday, November 11th, 2013 to any veteran with valid Military I.D. from 6:00am – 10:00pm.
Red Robin is serving up a FREE Red’s Tavern Double Burger and Bottomless Steak Fries for all veterans and active military personnel. Offer valid all day on Monday, November 11, 2013. Valid military ID or proof of service is required to get this deal.
California Pizza Kitchen is offering a Free Veterans Day lunch or dinner for veterans and active military personnel on Monday, November 11. Includes pizza and non-alcoholic drink. Just show up in uniform or bring a valid military ID.
Many, but not all, Subways will be offering free six-inch sandwich to active duty and veterans. Check with your local sandwich shop to see if they are participating.
Finally, Famous Dave’s Barbeque Restaurants is offering a sliding scale of offers. The promotions range from $15 off to FREE Meals to 10% off entire checks.
More deals can be found here, but don’t be afraid to ask a restaurant if they are offering any Veterans Day discounts or specials. Remember, that in most cases, beverages are not part of any promotional meals and in no case is gratuity included. So don’t forget to tip your server/waiter based on the normal everyday price of the meal.
