From Washington Post columnist, Charles Krauthammer comes a well written piece on how President Trump’s worst political week bodes well for the democracy we cherish. In the past week, the military, police officials, the Senate and the Boy Scouts said ‘No!’ to a man used to hearing ‘Yes.’
It’s not a secret that I don’t usually agree with Mr. Krauthammer’s assessment of anything, but in this one case, he’s hit the nail on the head. It wasn’t that Mr. Trump didn’t get his way on things he wanted that made the week noteworthy, it was that American institutions pushed back indicating that they weren’t part of Mr. Trump’s boardroom mentality.
