Mike Dell – You da man…

Long story short.

Posted here about finding out on Monday that Dell was recalling my laptop computer battery. On Tuesday, entered my battery data into Mike Dell’s database and he said, “Yep, that’s a bad one, boy. We’ll send you a replacement in 30 days. Thanks for buying one of my machines.”

Well, today (Friday) the replacement battery arrives – two days after I say, “Mike, I got a problem.” To me that is unbelievable and great customer service. Yes, I know he purposely lowered my expectation threshold on his website by stating long lead times, so I’d have this reaction. And you know what? It worked. Go Mike! 🙂

Battery problem solved with 96 hours. That is so cool! And I am a very happy man!!!
