In this one instance, I hate being right

In August, I wrote here that the San Diego Padres Baseball Club would watch the World Series from the comfort of their homes, like the rest of us, because of the bonehead moves the team management made earlier in the year.

Last night, the Padres were eliminated from the play-offs by a St. Louis team that is probably the weakest team to win its division in years. Yet, San Diego was so much worst. In four games, they gave up 16 runs and only scored 4.

Yep, in this one instance, I hate being right.
