Where the Fraggles Meet Old Bruce Wayne

Last week, my cable company, Cox Communications, gave me a welcome surprise. The Hub Channel is now part of my cable package and I’ve never been happier.

If you have an opportunity to add this channel to your viewing package, I highly recommend it.  Besides the expected sitcoms like “Happy Days” (did you know Richie had an older brother in college who disappeared after the first season?) and “Laverne and Shirley,”  you’ll find “The Wonder Years” and “Doogie Howser.”  But you’ll also find “Batman Beyond,”  “Fraggle Rock,” “Men In Black” and “Atomic Betty”   Those four shows alone make it worthwhile having the channel.

I used to watch “Fraggle Rock” with my kids when they were growing up. I’m pleased that it is back on the air so my son and daughter can watch it with their children. After all, there is nothing more delightful than hearing the Gobo read a postcard from Uncle Travelin’ Matt and getting the hidden message about family values.  The Hub is a good channel which I’ve  added to my regular viewing fare. If you add it, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

😀 We got this channel just last week and have to remember to include it more often in our channel-surfing.

@MM – They had me at Batman Beyond. The channel is on my DVR list. 🙂
