Marriage involves commitment and compromise. My MSO is committed to ensuring that I don’t get to do all the really cool and exciting stuff I’d like to do. I get to compromise and do all the dull and boring stuff she assumes we’d both would like.
Case in point, we went to see the movie “Twilight” yesterday because she wanted to see this “vampire” movie. For any who care, this post is not a review of the movie. I have never read the novels the movie is based on, but I didn’t have to. All the teenage girls in the audience (and there were a bunch of them) were pointing at the screen and giggling and pointing out (loudly) how beautiful the characters were (I kid you not).
Anyway, I sat through 2 hours of what in my opinion was an average Lifetime Channel movie that I could have watched for free (if I actually watched the Lifetime Movie Channel). And no that was not a review, it was a comment on the two hours of my life I’ll never get back.
Anyway, my MSO enjoyed the movie and my enjoyment substantially increased when the credits rolled. Thank goodness I have a long weekend coming up because this one was completely lost and my MSO owes me bigtime. 🙁
